Screening of San Francisco Opera’s Moby Dick @ Indiana Theater

Beginning in the late 1940s, Gilbert Wilson read Moby Dick and resolved to use it as a vehicle to project his beliefs and lessons for mankind. Although Wilson’s plans for an opera of Moby Dick did not materialize, you can watch a screening of the award-winning 2013 PBS production of the San Francisco Opera’s Moby Dick composed by Jake Heggie with libretto by Gene Scheer.
