Alliance Speaker

Sujata was born in India and emigrated with her family to the United States at the age of three. She first studied painting and printmaking at Boston University. After returning to Indiana to study at IU, she completed an MFA in printmaking at Louisiana State University. She finds print media to be at once challenging and rewarding, but often returns to drawing, which is her first love, and painting, where she finds the most room for growth.
