I can’t believe May is almost over and no one has posted this month. I was giddy when I saw the comments to my last post. I hope we can keep the conversation going. (Well, OK, so its not a conventional conversation – more a series of responsive monologues.)
Related to that discussion- the Swope Docent Corps and I just finished a hectic season of fifth grade tours (with a few extra thrown in.) If I did the math right, and I don’t guarantee I did, we gave 96 tours to about 1277 kids. I haven’t calculated how many footsteps that is or how many words and questions and new interesting interpretations …The Docents are great!
I’ve learned a lot from the process but I am still digesting; I’ll have to get back to you later with any brilliant insights or maybe just dull realizations.
